 PYROGEN

Supplements

  Bed sores form early.
Nux-v./m. will antidote Pyr. or Psor.

Pyrogen has all the aching of Eup-per., all the soreness of Arn., all the restlessness of Rhus-t.  This peculiar combination of symptoms sometimes occurs in troubles, in cases when the sepsis origin are dangerous to life and without this remedy are difficult to cure.  Rhus-t. is usually given for this condition, for the patient is also relieved from motion and is chilly, but it does not fully cover the case.

And as the patient nears death, we are apt to see all the prostration and anxiety of Ars., all the rattling in the chest of Tartar-emetic.

The action of Pyrogen is prompt and mild in the last days of consumption, with the above symptoms present, it will palliate wonderfully, it will relieve the patient of all painful symptoms, all the physical suffering of death and the patient will die painlessly in full possession of his senses.

The general nature of this combination is to be remembered as a picture of Pyrogen, aching, restlessness, soreness, anxiety, prostration, rattling in chest,   No fire can warm them in the evenings.
  Diphtheria – dissecting wounds.

Tongue clean, smooth as if varnished and bright red (scarlet fever, small pocks, typhoid) shows that the patient will die if something is not done soon. It is characteristic in Bright’s disease.
High fever 103 – 106 with chill in puerperal fever – dissecting wounds – sewer gas poisoning.
Malignant dysentery, after all others failed.
  Blood poisons.
  Lach. – blue left side.

  Ars. - > heat.
  Anthr. – great sloughing.
Tarantula. – nervous, excruciating pain in the abscess itself.
  Horribly offensive discharge.
